Abstract：ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of Ambroxol hydrochloride in patients with COPD complicated with pulmonary infection.Methods112 patients with COPD complicated with pulmonary infection in our hospital from September 2013 to September 2016 were randomly divided into observation group and control group，each group with 56 cases.Patients in the control group were treated by conventional symptomatic treatment,patients in the observation group were treated with ambroxol hydrochloride on the basis of routine treatment.The therapeutic effects and adverse reactions of the two groups were observed and compared.ResultsThe total efficiency of the observation group was 91.1%，significantly higher than the control group(78.6%)，the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment，CPIS score of patients in the two groups was significantly decreased compared with before treatment，and the CPIS score of treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group，the clinical symptoms improved time and hospitalization time of patients in the observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group，the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups（P＞0.05）.ConclusionAmbroxol hydrochloride has significant curative effect in patients with COPD combined with pulmonary infection，can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients，promote the early recovery of patients，with less adverse reactions and safety，and has a high clinical value.
