Abstract:Objective To investigate the influence of different operation timing of laparoscopic cholecystectomy on senile acute cholecystitis. Methods The clinical data of 70 senile patients with acute cholecystitis who admitted to Shangrao Fifth People′s Hospital from March 2017 to March 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. The clinical data of 25 patients with symptom-to-operation time <48 h were classified as group A, the clinical data of 25 patients with symptom-to-operation time from 48 to 72 h were classified as group B, and the clinical data of 20 patients with symptom-to-operation time >72 h were classified as group C. The surgical indexes, conversion to laparotomy and the total incidence of complications were compared among the three groups. Results The total effective rate of patients in group A was higher than that in group C, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between group A and group B (P>0.05). There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between group B and group C (P>0.05). The operative time, exhaust time and hospital stay of patients in group A were shorter than those in group B and group C, and the intraoperative blood loss was less than that in group B and group C, with statistical differences (P<0.05). There was no statistical difference in the rate of conversion to laparotomy among the three groups (P>0.05). There was no statistical difference in the total incidence of complications among the three groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Laparoscopic cholecystectomy within 48 h of onset of symptoms for senile patients with acute cholecystitis has better efficacy, it can promote postoperative rehabilitation of patients.
