Clinical study of needle knife combined with acupuncture therapy treating scapulohumeral periarthritis

Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the method and effect of needle knife combined with acupuncture therapy treating scapulohumeral periarthritis.MethodsSixty-eight patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis treated in Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Maonan District in Maoming City from January 2016 to April 2017 were selected randomly and they were divided into the treatment group(n=34)and control group(n=34).The patients in the treatment group were treated with needle knife to release the adhesion tissue,and the distal limb acupuncture exercise therapy was given.The control group was treated with conventional massage combined with TDP treatment instrument to beam,oral Dai Fen Capsules treatment.The efficacy and shoulder function scores were compared between the two groups.ResultsThe total effective rate was 91.2%in the treatment group and 61.8%in the control group,and there was a significant difference(P<0.05).After treatmeng,the shoulder function score in the treatment group[(88.27±3.28)points]was higher than that of the control group[(73.67±2.56)points](P<0.05).ConclusionKnife combined with acupuncture therapy treating scapulohumeral periarthritis has an obvious effect,and it can improve the quality of life of patients and relive the pain and it is worthy of promption.
