Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of Calcium Polycarbophil in the perioperative period of mixed hemorrhoid. Methods A total of 120 patients with mixed hemorrhoids in Department of Anorectal, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from June 2019 to June 2020 were enrolled in this study. The patients were randomized digital tables and divided into observation group and control group, a total of 60 casees in each group. The control group was given high-quality care in the anorectal department, and the observation group was taken orally with Calcium Polycarbophil Tablets on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy of the two groups, first defecation time, degree of defecation diffirate culty, stool trait score, postoperative complications, and adverse reactions were compared. Results The total efficacy rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group on the 7th day after operation, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). The first defecation time after operation in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The observation group defecation difficulty on the 7th day after operation was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). The stool trait scores of the observation group on the first and 7th day after operation were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the pain scores of the two groups on the third day after surgery(P＞0.05). The scores of edema, effusion on the 3rd day after operation and pain, edema, and effusion on the 7th day of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).During the entire study period, no serious adverse reactions occurred in the observation group. Conclusion Perioperative application of Calcium Polycarbophil significantly improved the postoperative defecation condition, reduced the occurrence of surgical complications, and had a good safety.
