Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of ultrasound-guided lauryl alcohol ablation in the treatment of thyroid cystic nodules. Methods A total of 200 patients with thyroid cystic nodules in the ultrasound department of Anshan Tumor Hospital,Liaoning Province from March 2019 to March 2020 were selected as the research objects, they were divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table method, with 100 cases in each group. The patients in the observation group were treated with ultrasound-guided lauryl alcohol ablation, and the patients in the control group were treated with absolute ethanol injection sclerotherapy under ultrasound-guided.The indexes of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in observation group was lower than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The narrowing rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Ultrasound guided polylauryl alcohol ablation for patients with thyroid cystic nodules can achieve significant results, which can not only improve the therapeutic effect, but also reduce adverse reactions.
