Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of surgery combined with infrared radiation, wax therapy, and Ba Duan Jin functional exercise in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation. Methods From January to February 2020,101 patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation in the Orthopedics Department of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Gannan Medical College were selected as the research objects. They were divided into the reference group(50 cases)and the treatment group(51 cases)according to the random number table. The reference group was treated with small incision fenestration nucleus pulposus, and the treatment group was combined with infrared radiation, wax therapy, and Baduanjin functional exercise therapy on the basis of the reference group. The degree of pain, lumbar spine function and efficacy before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results There were no significant difference in visual analogue scale(VAS)score and Japanese orthopaedic associations(JOA)score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the VAS score of the treatment group was lower than the reference group, and the JOA score was higher than the reference group ,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the treatment group was higher than that of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Surgery combined with infrared radiation, wax therapy, and Ba Duan Jin functional exercise to treat lumbar intervertebral disc herniation can better relieve the patient′s pain and improve the lumbar function. The effect is significant, and it can be preferred.
