Application value of pain intervention in digital flexor tendon microrepair

Abstract:Objective To investigate the application value of pain intervention in flexor digitorum tendon microrepair.Methods A total of 114 patients with digital flexor tendon injury admitted to the Seventh Affiliated Hospital, Southern Medical University from May 2017 to July 2019 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into study group (57 cases) and control group (57 cases) according to random number table method.Both groups of patients were treated with microsurgery, the control group was given conventional intravenous anesthesia, and the study group received intermuscular brachial plexus block after operation on the basis of the control group.The pain visual analog scale (VAS) scores, rehabilitation effect, interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and complications of the two groups were compared.Results The VAS scores of the study group at 1, 2, and 4 weeks after operation were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the study group was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The good prognosis rate of the study group was 98.2%, which was higher than 87.7% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the study group was 3.5%, which was lower than 17.5% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The application of pain intervention after micro-repair of finger flexor tendon can promote pain relief, reduce the occurrence of complications, and improve the excellent and good rate of patients' total active mobility.
