Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Carboxymethyl Cellulose Sodium Eye Drops combined with artificial tears in the treatment of dry eye after phacoemulsification of cataract. Methods A total of 300 cataract patients with dry eyes after phacoemulsification in Jingdezhen No.1 People′s Hospital from January 2018 to January 2019 were selected as the research subjects.According to the drawing lottery method, they were divided into three groups, control group a,control group b,and observation group c,with 100 cases (100 eyes) in each group.Control group a was treated with 0.5% Levofloxacin Eye Drops before surgery, and Tobramycin and Dexamethasone Eye Drops early after surgery (2 weeks). On this basis, control group b was treated with Carboxymethyl Cellulose Sodium Eye Drops after surgery, and observation group c was treated with artificial tears and Carboxymethyl Cellulose Sodium Eye Drops before and after surgery.Dry eye symptom score, corneal fluorescence staining score, tear break-up time (BUT) score and treatment effect of the three groups were compared. Results The dry eye symptom score and corneal fluorescence staining score of observation group c and control group b at three months after surgery were lower than those at 7 d after surgery, and the BUT score was higher than that at 7 d after operation, the dry eye symptom scores and corneal fluorescence staining scores of observation group c and control group b at 7 d,1 month, and 3 months after surgery were lower than those of control group a,while BUT score was higher than that of control group a,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total effective rate of observation group c and control group b was higher than that of control group a,and the total effective rate of observation group c was higher than control group b,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The application of Carboxymethyl Cellulose Sodium Eye Drops and artificial tears after phacoemulsification of cataracts has remarkable therapeutic effects with high safety. It is worthy of exploration and promotion.
