Abstract:Objective To investigate the application and prognosis of single port thoracoscopy in the treatment of early lung cancer.Methods A total of 98 lung cancer patients admitted to Tiemei General Hospital of Liaoning Health Industry Group from January 2019 to January 2020 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided by lottery into study group and control group, with 49 patients in each group.The control group was treated with thoracotomy lobectomy, and the study group was treated with single port thoracoscopic surgery.Lung function indexes [first second forced expiratory volume (FEV1), forced vital capacity (FVC), FEV1/FVC], clinical indexes, total incidence of complications, visual analogue scale of pain (VAS) score and quality of life score were compared between two groups.Results After treatment, FEV1, FVC and FEV1/FVC in the study group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The operative time and hospital stay of the study group were shorter than those of the control group, thoracic drainage was less than that of the control group, and intraoperative blood loss was more than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).VAS score of the study group was lower than that of the control group after treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The scores of quality of life after treatment in the study group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion VATS with single operation hole can shorten the operation time, reduce complications, relieve pain and improve the quality of life of patients with early lung cancer.
