Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of micro class health education and core stability training on the vertebral function and pain degree of lumbar disc herniation patients.Methods A total 94 patients with lumbar disc herniation treated in Jiujiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2018 to October 2020 were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into the control group(47 cases)and the observation group(47 cases)according to the random number table method.The control group was given routine health education and massage therapy,the observation group was given micro class health education combined with core stable training on the basis of the control group,and the intervention time was 8 weeks.The vertebral function (the lumbar function score table of the Japanese Orthopaedic Association [JOA]scores),pain degree (oswestry dysfunction index [ODI])and rehabilitation knowledge mastery were compared before and after intervention.Results Before intervention,there were no significant differences in JOA score and ODI between the two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention,the JOA score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the ODI was lower than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of disease knowledge,rehabilitation skills and emotional knowledge in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of micro class health education and core stability training can effectively improve the rehabilitation knowledge of patients with lumbar disc herniation,improve the vertebral function and reduce the pain.
