Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical application value of modified continuous suture method in endoscopic submucosal dissection. Methods From March to August 2020,60 patients with gastric submucosal tumors who were hospitalized in the Department of Gastroenterology,People′s Hospital of Ganzhou City were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table, they were divided into the observation group and the control group, with 30 cases in each group. All patients underwent endoscopic submucosal dissection. The wounds of the control group were treated with nylon string purse string suture, and the wounds of the observation group were treated with modified continuous suture. The wound diameter, wound suture time, hospitalization cost, wound healing and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results There was no statistically significant difference in wound diameter between the two groups (P>0.05).The wound suture time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the hospitalization cost was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in observation group was higher than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no residual lesions or recurrence occurred in both groups after reexamination. Conclusion The improved continuous suture method used in endoscopic submucosal dissection can effectively close the wound,is economical and safe, and has clinical promotion value.
