Abstract：For promoting construction of healthy China,rational use of drugs should not be absent.Opening drug consultation clinicby clinical pharmacists,who could provide services to patients directly,is conducive to improve the standardization of drug treatment to ensure the safety and compliance of drug treatment,to reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions,to fulfill individualized and accurate medication.At the same time,it can reduce medical disputes,enhancing the overall image of the hospital.As the action of healthy China promoted by Premier LI Ke-qiang to overall state,the idea that everyone is first responsible person for his own health is advocated.Compared with traditional consultation window,establishment of drug consultation clinic can popularize the knowledge of rational use of drugs to patients,as well as meet the self-medication needs for public self-medication.In this paper,we demonstrated the development status of domestic drug counseling service by reviewing relevant literature in the past 10 years,analyzed and summarized the conditions,methods,procedures and significance of setting up drug consultation clinic.Come to the conclusion of drug consultation clinic is a new way for clinical pharmacists to play a role in promoting rational drug use in the future,and also provides ideas and technical guidance for the establishment of relevant pharmaceutical consulting outpatient department.
