Objective To analyze the constitution characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in patients with H-type hypertension. Methods A total of 280 patients with essential hypertension who were admitted to Fangshan Hospital Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from January 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the research subjects, and were divided into observation group(210 cases)and control group(70 cases)according to whether they were complicated with hyperhomocysteinemia(HHCY).The observation group was H-type hypertension patients, and the control group was non H-type hypertension patients.TCM constitution identification was performed on the two groups of patients, and the TCM constitution characteristics of the patients were counted and analyzed. Results The proportion of male in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The biased constitution of 210 patients with H-type hypertension was mainly composed of phlegm-dampness(18.21%),qi deficiency(15.90%),yang deficiency(15.13%)and damp-heat(14.87%).The biased constitution of 70 patients with non-H-type hypertension were mainly Qi deficiency(21.99%),Yang deficiency(19.86%),Qi stagnation(12.77%)and phlegm dampness(12.06%).The proportion of men with phlegm-dampness and damp-heat quality in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion H-type hypertension is related to all types of constitution in traditional Chinese medicine.Among them,it is closely related to phlegm and dampness, and the prevalence of men is higher. This is of great significance for guiding Chinese medicine to treat hypertension by adjusting the constitution, use drugs for different constitution, and improve clinical efficacy.
