Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics, the laboratory examinations and the treatment methods of the eosinophilic dermatitis. Methods The clinical data of 29 patients with eosinophilic dermatitis admitted to the Department of Dermatology,Air Force Special Medical Center,PLA from January 2012 to December 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. Results Among the 29 patients, the male to female ratio was 3.1∶1,and the average age was(61.3±14.18)years old.Twenty-eight patients had generalized rashes, which could be mainly manifested in two types. One was infiltrated or swollen erythema, accounting for 41.4%;the other was generalized firm papules, nodules, with or without moss-like changes and dry desquamation, accounting for 31.0%.The laboratory examination showed that besides an obvious increase in eosinophils,85.2% of patients presented with elevated lactate dehydrogenase, and 63.0%of patients with elevated alpha-hydroxybutyrate decarboxylase.Through oral administration of low to medium dose of glucocorticoids alone or low to medium dose of glucocorticoids combined with immunosuppressive agents, the rashes were visibly improved. Conclusion The rash of eosinophilic dermatitis has no obvious specificity, and the treatment effect of low to medium dose of glucocorticoids or low to medium dose glucocorticoids combined with immunosuppressive agent obtains a preferable effect.
