Abstract:Objective To explore the teaching effect of standardized patients in comprehensive nursing training in higher vocational colleges. Methods From May 2020 to June 2020, two classes were randomly selected from the nursing specialty of grade 2018 in Jiangxi Health Vocation College, which were divided into study group (62 cases) and control group (163 cases) respectively. In the course of comprehensive nursing training, the study group introduced standardized patients, while the control group adopted conventional teaching methods, and then at the end of the course, the students′ classroom satisfaction, communication abilities and humanistic care quality were compared between the two groups. Results The students′ classroom satisfaction, communication abilities and humanistic care quality in the study group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion The introduction of standardized patients in comprehensive nursing training can improve students′ comprehensive abilities of learning interest, efficient communication and humanistic care, and promote the effective integration between school education and clinical practice.
