Abstract:Objective To explore the value of DingTalk software in laboratory management and teaching of histology and embryology. Methods A total of 80 medical students who studied in the histology and embryology laboratory in our university at 2018—2019 and 2019—2020 were selected as the research objects, including the control group in 2018—2019 (40 cases) and the observation group in 2019—2020 (40 cases). The control group was adopted the traditional laboratory teaching concept, while the observation group was combined with nailing software, and the pre-class preview rate, course attendance rate and homework completion rate in the two groups were compared, the evaluation of teachers′ teaching effect between two groups of students were compared, and the theoretical and practical ability test results of histology and embryology examination at the end of semester were counted. Results The pre-class preparation rate, course attendance rate and homework completion rate in the observation group were higher than control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of the observation group on the teaching fun, content specificity, and practical integration of the teacher′s teaching effect evaluation indicators in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of theoretical and practical ability test of histology and embryology examination at the end of semester in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of DingTalk software in teaching management of histology and embryology laboratory can cultivate students′active learning ability and improve teaching quality.
