Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical therapeutic effect of Huafu Shengji Paste combined with micro-aerobic therapy in the treatment of patients with stage Ⅳpressure ulcers. Methods Forty patients with stage Ⅳpressure ulcers who received the treatment in Dermatology Department of Xinghua Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from April 2019 to June 2020 were selected as the research subjects. The patients were divided into experimental group (20 cases)and control group (20 cases) by random number table method. The patients in the experimental group were treated with Huafu Shengji Paste combined with micro-aerobic therapy, and the patients in the control group were treated with sterile petrolatum. Both groups received debridement and systemic care. The overall response rates of wound area reduction, wound tissue type change, and wound exudate reduction were compared between the two groups after 2 and 4 weeks of treatment; the length, width, depth, area, and volume of the wound before treatment and after 2, 4 weeks of treatment of the two groups were compared; the overall response rate of wound repair were compared between the two groups after 4 weeks of treatment. Results The overall response rates of wound area reduction, wound tissue type change, wound exudate volume reduction in the experimental group were higher than those of the control group after 2 and 4 weeks of treatment, the length, width, depth, area, and volume of wound in the experimental group were all lower than those of the control group after 2 and 4 weeks of treatment, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). In the experimental group, the overall response rates of wound area reduction, wound tissue type change, wound exudate volume reduction after 4 weeks of treatment were higher than those after 2 weeks of treatment, the length, width, depth, area, and volume of wound after 4 weeks of treatment were lower than those after 2 weeks of treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). In the control group the overall response rates of wound area reduction, wound tissue type change, wound exudate volume reduction, after 4 weeks of treatment were ligher than those after 2 weeks of treatment, the differencces were statistically significant (P<0.05). In the control group, there were no statistical differences in the length, width, depth, area, and volume of wound between 4 weeks of and 2 weeks of treatment (P>0.05). The overall response rate of wound recovery in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group after 4 weeks of treatment, and the difference was statistically significant between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion The Huafu Shengji Paste combined with micro-aerobic therapy in the treatment of stage Ⅳpressure ulcers has a good effect, favorable recovery, and mild side effects, and can significantly improve quality of life of patients, and it is worthy of clinical promotion.
