Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of systematic health education on the cognitive level and self-care ability of patients with hepatitis B liver cirrhosis. Methods A total of 102 patients with viral hepatitis B cirrhosis who were treated in Chaisang District Schistosomiasis Control Station and Chaisang District People′s Hospital of Jiujiang City from July 2017 to July 2020 were selected as the research subjects. According to random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 51 patients in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, while the observation group was given systematic health education intervention on the basis of the control group. The cognitive level of patients (including the knowledge of disease, treatment, medication knowledge and life management), self nursing ability (including self concept and self care skills, sense of responsibility and self health knowledge level) and the treatment compliance behavior (including proper dose on time, reasonable exercise, science, healthy eating, actively cooperate with treatment and periodically review) were compared between two groups. Results After intervention, the cognitive level and self-care ability scores of the two groups were higher than those before intervention, and the cognitive level and self-care ability scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group after intervention, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The treatment compliance of the observation group was higher than that of the control group in all aspects, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Systematic health education for patients with viral hepatitis B cirrhosis can effectively improve patients′ cognitive level of disease and health knowledge, enhance the ability of self-care, improve treatment compliance behavior, and further ensure the treatment effect, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
