Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of internal combined with external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine on the chronic cough variant asthma (CVA). Methods From September 2018 to September 2019, 97 CVA patients admitted to Dehui Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as the research objectes. They were randomly divided into the reference group (48 cases) and the experimental group (49 cases) by lotting. Patients in reference group were treated with bronchiectasis, Montelukast Sodium and other routine Western medicine treatment. On the basis of the reference group, the patients in the experimental group were treated with internal combined with external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine by the introduction of electrical pulse and Maxing Shigan Decoction.Three months later, the clinical efficacy, serum immunoglobulin E (IgE), interleukin-13 (IL-13) and eosinophil count(EOS) were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the experimental group was higher than that in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in IgE, IL-13 and EOS before treatment between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the IgE,IL-13 and EOS of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the IgE, IL-13 and EOS of the experimental group were lower than those of the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion On the basis of Western medicine treatment, the treatment of chronic CVA patients with traditional Chinese medicine by direct current plasma introduction and Maxing Shigan Decoction can improve anti-allergic inflammation and improve clinical efficacy.
