Abstract：Objective To explore the application value of psychological nursing intervention based on the concept of evidence-based medicine in patients with limb fractures.Methods From October 2019 to October 2020,90 patients with limb fractures who underwent surgeries in the Second People′s Hospital of Pingxiang City,Jiangxi Province were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into two groups by the random number table method,45 cases in each group.The patients in the control group adopted conventional nursing,and the patients in the experimental group adopted psychological nursing based on the concept of evidence-based medicine.The two groups mental state,activities of daily living,mastery of disease-related knowledge and postoperative complications were compared.Results Before the intervention,there were no statistical significances in the self-rating anxiety scale(SAS）,the self-rating depression scale(SDS)score,or the asessment of activities of daily living Barthel index(BI)in the two groups(P＞0.05).After the intervention,the SAS and SDS scores of the two groups were lower than before the intervention,and the BI score was higher than that before the intervention,the scores of SAS was(39.31±3.22)and SDS was(41.05±4.13)points of the experimental group,lower than those of the control group of(46.11±4.27)and(47.23±5.11)points,the BI was(79.67±6.21)points in the experimental group,higher than that of the control group of(67.84±5.92）points,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The disease-related knowledge)mastery of the experimental group after intervention was higher than that in the control group,the incidence of postoperative complications was lower than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Psychological nursing intervention based on the concept of evidence-based medicine can improve the mental state of patients with limb fractures,reduce complications,and improve the mastery of disease knowledge and the ability of daily living activities.
