Abstract:Objective To study the application effect of maker education mode in first-time insulin injection education in outpatients. Methods A total of 60 patients with diabetes who were admitted to Pingxiang People′s Hospital from October 2019 to July 2020 were seleccted as the research objects and divided into the control group and the observation group according to random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given routine education mode intervention, and the observation group was given maker education mode intervention. The mastery of insulin knowledge and injection technique, qualified rate of blood glucose, level of glycated hemoglobin and satisfaction of patients were compared between two groups. Results The total mastery rate of insulin knowledge and injection technique, total satisfaction rate and the qualified rate of blood glucose in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the level of glycated hemoglobin in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 3 weeks of the intervention, the scores of physiological function, physiological function, physical pain, energy, social function, emotional function, mental health and general health status of the two groups were higher than those before intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Maker education mode can increase the level of insulin injection and satisfaction, decrease the level of blood glucose, and promote better prognostic development.
