Effect of early pelvic floor rehabilitation device training plus biofeedback electrical stimulation therapy on serum leptin level and muscle strength in patients with postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction

Abstract:Objective To study and explore the effect of early pelvic floor rehabilitation device training and biofeedback electrical stimulation therapy on serum leptin level in patients with postpartum pelvic floor muscle dysfunction.Methods A total of 80 patients with postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction in Jiujiang Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Jiangxi Province from January 2018 to January 2020 were selected as the research subjects,and they were divided into study group(n=40)and control group(n=40)according to the random number table method.Study group was given early pelvic floor rehabilitation device training combined with biofeedback electrical stimulation therapy,and control group was treated with early pelvic floor rehabilitation device training.The muscle strength classification,serum leptin level and total effective rate of treatment were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate of the study group was 95.00%,which was higher than that of the control group(80.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in serum leptin between the two groups(P>0.05).At 1,2 and 3 months after treatment,the serum leptin levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no statistical significance in muscle strength grading between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the muscle strength grading in the study group was better than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Early pelvic floor rehabilitation device training combined with biofeedback electrical stimulation can improve the pelvic floor muscle strength of patients with postpartum pelvic floor muscle dysfunction,reduce serum leptin level,and improve treatment efficiency.
