Study of high-risk human papillomavirus infection and its relationship with cervical lesions in opportunistic screening population of Yu′an District in Lu′an City

Abstract:Objective To study the infection characteristics of high-risk human papillomavirus(HR-HPV)in the opportunistic screening population of Yu′an District in Lu′an City,to understand the HR-HPV in cervical lesions,and to explore the infection characteristics of HR-HPV in different cervical lesions.Methods From November 2018 to November 2019,1839 cases who received opportunistic screening for cervical cancer in the Gynecological Outpatient and Physical Examination Center of Lu′an Shili Hospital were selected as the research subjects.The polymerase chain reaction(PCR)fluorescence quantitative was used to detect 13 kinds of HR-HPV,and the results of HR-HPV detection and cervical liquid-based thin layer cytology(TCT)were further compared and analyzed.The distribution of HRHPV infection subtypes and its relationship with cervical lesions were also analyzed.Results Among the 1839 patients,407 cases of HR-HPV were positive.The overall HR-HPV infection rate was 22.13%.Among them,type 52 HR-HPV was the most infected,followed by type 16 and type 58.The infection rate of HR-HPV gradually increased with the increase of age,and the infection rate in the group aged over 60 years was as high as 36.92%.In the TCT examination,the HR-HPV infection rate reached 100.00% in the cases diagnosed as glandular epithelial lesions tending to adenocarcinoma.The most infected HR-HPV type in the cases diagnosed as low-grade disease was type 52,while the most infected HR-HPV type in the cases of high-grade disease and squamous cell carcinoma was type 16.Conclusion In the population of opportunistic screening of Yu′an District in Lu′an City,type 52 HR-HPV is the most infected,followed by type 16,but cervical disease is more severe among patients infected with type 16 HPV.When the corresponding HR-HPV infection type is detected,clinical intervention and treatment should be timely to prevent the occurrence of cervical cancer.
