Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) mode on the complications of general anesthesia during resuscitation. Methods A total of 200 patients with general anesthesia who were observed in the anesthesia resuscitation room of the Anesthesiology Department of the 73rd Army Hospital of the Chinese People′s Liberation Army from June to December in 2019 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into observation group and control group with 100 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with routine nursing, while the patients in the observation group were treated with FMEA nursing mode. The incidence of abnormal blood pressure, pipeline shedding, irritability, delayed recovery, abnormal heart rate, complications and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups after nursing. Results The total incidence of abnormal blood pressure, tube shedding, irritability, delayed recovery, abnormal heart rate and total complications rate in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); the entrance assessment, resuscitation monitoring, exit assessment, and transfer and handover satisfaction ratings of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The FMEA nursing model can effectively reduce the incidence of complications in patients undergoing general anesthesia resuscitation, reduce the occurrence of risk events, and improve the satisfaction rate of patients, which is worthy of clinical application.
