Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of timing of pregnancy termination on pregnancy outcome in pregnant women with early onset severe preeclampsia. Methods The complete clinical data of 82 pregnant women with early onset severe preeclampsia who were admitted to the Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital of Dalian City from January to December 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. The pregnant women with early onset severe preeclampsia were divided into A group (n=40,gestational age<32 weeks) and B group (n=42,32 weeks≤gestational age≤34 weeks) according to the different time of pregnancy termination. The general situations and pregnancy outcome were compared between the two groups. Results The total incidence of adverse pregnancy outcome in B group was lower than that in A group after treatment (P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in B group was lower than that in A group (P<0.05).Conclusion Pregnant women with early onset severe preeclampsia choose to terminate their pregnancy at gestational age of 32-34 weeks,it is conducive to achieving good mother-fetus outcome and decreasing the incidence of complications, which is worthy of learning.
