Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of "one disease and one product" on the awareness rate and self-efficacy of patients with appendicitis undergoing laparoscopic resection. Methods A total of 82 patients with appendicitis who underwent laparoscopic resection in our hospital from June 2017 to August 2019 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the control group (n=41) and the observation group (n=41) according to the random number table method. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group was combined with "one disease and one product" nursing intervention on the basis of the control group. The awareness rate, general self-efficacy scale score before and after nursing and the total incidence rate of postoperative complications in the two groups were compared. Results The awareness rates of disease etiology, treatment method, surgical prognosis, rehabilitation exercise, regular review and dietary intervention in the observation group after 7 days of nursing were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The scores of daily life, health behavior, compliance behavior and emotional management in the observation group after 7 days of nursing were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence rate of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The "one disease and one product" nursing model can improve the awareness rate and enhance the self-efficacy level in patients with appendicitis undergoing laparoscopic resection. It is worthy of popularization and application.
