Abstract:Objective To compare the effect of endodontic treatment of pulpitis after inactivation of living pulp teeth and root canal extraction. Methods A total of 86 patients with pulpitis who were admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to April 2019 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into two groups according to the time of admission, and each had 43 patients. The observation group was treated with root canal after inactivation of the living pulp teeth, and the control group was treated with root canal after extubation. The patients were followed up for 4 months after treatment, the efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the incidence of pain in the observation group after treatment was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); The rate of acute reaction occurred in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with root canal treatment after pulp extraction, root canal treatment after active pulp tooth deactivation can significantly improve the efficacy of pulpitis, improve pain, and have fewer adverse reactions.
