Abstract：Objective To explore the applicatiion effect of early pulpotomy decompression and drainage in the treatment of acute pulpitis.Methods Eighty patients with acute pulpitis treated in our hospital from March 2017 to March 2019 were divided into a control group and an observation group by drawing lots and 40 cases each.The control group was given conservative treatment,and the observation group was given early pulpotomy decompression and drainage.The clinical efficacy,pain,number of treatments,and the total incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in pain scores between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).After treatment,the pain scores of the two groupswere lower than those before treatment,and the pain score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P＜0.05).The number of treatments in the observation group was less than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of early pulpotomy decompression and drainage in the treatment of acute pulpitis has a significant effect,which can effectively improve the overall treatment effect,relieve pain,reduce the number of treatments,and has high clinical promotion value.
