Abstract:Objective To study the application value of musculoskeletal ultrasound in traumatic superficial soft tissue injury. Methods From January 2017 to September 2018,100 patients suspected with traumatic superficial soft tissue injury in our hospital were selected, all patients were examined by X-ray and musculoskeletal ultrasonography. The results of operative diagnosis were the gold standard, the diagnostic results of X-ray and musculoskeletal ultrasonography for traumatic superficial soft tissue injury were compared, and the consistency between the diagnostic results of X-ray and musculoskeletal ultrasonography and the operative diagnosis results was analyzed. Results The diagnostic sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of musculoskeletal ultrasound for traumatic superficial soft tissue injury were higher than those of X-ray(P<0.05).The diagnostic coincidence rate of musculoskeletal ultrasound for muscle injury, tendon injury, ligament injury and meniscus injury was higher than that of X-ray (P<0.05).The consistency analysis showed that the diagnostic results of musculoskeletal ultrasonography were in good agreement with those of surgical diagnosis, and the consistency between X-ray and surgical diagnosis was moderate. Conclusion The musculoskeletal ultrasound has a good diagnostic value for the diagnosis of traumatic superficial soft tissue injury. It can detect sensitive superficial soft tissue injury and distinguish the type of soft tissue injury.
