Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of lipid-lowering therapy on sudden deafness with hyperlipidemia. Methods 78 cases of sudden deafness with hyperlipidemia in our hospital from January 2016 to December 2017 were selected and randomly divided into control group and treatment group, 39 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Fibrinolytic Enzyme, Ginkgo Dipyridamole and Methylprednisolone, and treatment group was added with Atorvastatin Calcinm Tablets on the basis of the control group. Two groups of patients were conducted hearing threshold, and compared two groups of treatment results. Results The total effective rate was 87.18% in the treatment group and 64.11% in the control group, the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in hearing threshold between the two groups before treatment. The pure tone auditory threshold of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group after 14 days of treatment, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Lipid-lowering therapy is effective in treating sudden deafness with hyperlipidemia.
