Abstract:Objective To investigate the relationship between serum sex hormones levels and metabolic syndrome(MS)of women in perimenopause period. Methods From January 2016 to June 2017,a total of 290 women who were in line with the requirements of the study in the gynecology clinic and the residents′health examination were selected as observers.According to STRAW staging criteria, all observers were divided into premenopausal group, menopausal transition group, early menopause group and late menopause group.MS was defined according to the diagnostic criteria of metabolic syndrome in Chinese Diabetes 2013,the relationship between serum sex hormones levels and MS of women in different stage of perimenopause was analyzed. Results The prevalence rates of MS in premenopausal group, menopausal transition group, early menopause group and late menopause group were 18.67%,19.51%,29.69%and 39.13%,it was on the rise. The FSH serum level of MS patients in menopausal transition group, early menopause group and late menopause group were significantly higher than that of the normal person (P<0.05 or<0.01).The LH serum level of MS patients in the menopausal transition group and late menopause group were higher than that of the normal person (P<0.05).The E2serum level of MS patients in early menopause group and late menopause group were significantly lower than that of the normal person (P<0.05 or<0.01).Conclusion The risk of MS increase in postmenopausal women. The change of serum E2level in postmenopausal women play an important role in the occurrence and development of MS.However, the related mechanism remains to be further studied.
