Abstract:ObjectiveTo study the significance of soluble B7-H4 in the diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis.MethodsA total of 65 rheumatoid arthritis(RA)patients and 66 osteoarthritis(OA)patients admitted to our hospital from January 2013 to December 2014 were selected. At the same time,70 patients were selected for physical examination in our hospital. The serum levels of sB7-H4,anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide(CCP)antibodies, and glucose 6-phosphate isomerase(GPI)levels were measured in three groups by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).The patient′s rheumatoid factor(RF)was measured by immunoturbidimetry. The significance of sB7-H4 in the diagnosis of RA was compared and analyzed.ResultsThe levels of sB7-H4,RF,anti-CCP antibody and GPI in RA group were significantly higher than those in OA group and healthy group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).sB7-H4 was positively correlated with RF and anti-CCP antibodies but not with GPI levels. In addition, the positive rates of sB7-H4,RF,anti-CCP antibodies, and GPI in the RA group were significantly higher than those in the OA group and the healthy group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionsB7-H4 has high value in diagnosing RA and has good clinical application prospects.
