Abstract:Objective To study the effect of posterior pedicle screw placement on pain digit score (NRS score)and disability index score (ODI score)in elderly patients with spinal degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis. Methods From July 2014 to July 2016,78 cases of senile spinal degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis treated in our hospital were selected as the research subjects.According to the treatment of the patients, they were divided into the control group (38 cases)and the observation group (40 cases).Patients in the control group were treated with conservative treatment, and patients in the observation group were treated with posterior pedicle screw placement. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The curative effect of the observation group was 92.86%,which was significantly higher than the control group of 71.05%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The NRS and ODI scores of the two groups were not significant before the treatment(P>0.05).After one month of treatment, the NRS score and ODI score of the patients in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Posterior pedicle screw placement prosthesis for elderly patients with spinal degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis disease treatment effect is better, which can effectively reduce the pain of patients, improve the lumbar vertebral function obstacle, with good safety, high clinical application value.
