Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of Embosphere microspheres embolization in the treatment of liver metastases from colon cancer.Methods The clinical data and efficacy of 40 patients with liver metastases from colon cancer(the study group)from October 2014 to August 2016 in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed and compared with the 55 cases of liver metastasis of colon cancer patients accepted lipiodol treatment with the same period(the control group)in our hospital.The incidence rate of adverse reactions and the short-term efficacy of the two groups were compared.Results The disease remission rate and the disease control rate in the study group was higher than that in the control group,with significant difference (P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence rate of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Short term efficacy of Embosphere microspheres embolization in the treatment of liver metastases from colorectal cancer is accurate,it has good clinical application value.
