Effect observation of Shugan Jieyu Capsules combined with Western Medicine on treating patients with functional dyspepsia accompanied with anxiety and depression

Abstract:ObjectiveTo study the clinical effect of Shugan Jieyu Capsules combined with Western medicine in the treatment of patients with functional dyspepsia accompanied with anxiety and depression.MethodsFrom September 2014 to January 2017,96 functional dyspepsia patients with anxiety and depression treated in the outpatient of our hospital were selected as subjects.According to the odd or even sequence of visiting hospital,they were evenly divided into control group(n=48)and observation group(n=48)in random.In the control group,Western medicine was used,while in the observation group,on the basis of the control group,Shugan Jieyu Capsules was combined.The clinical effect,scores of anxiety and depression and incidence of adverse reactions were compared.ResultsIn the observation group,the total clinical efficacy was 95.83%,which was much higher than that in the control group (83.33%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After therapy,the scores of SAS and SDS were lower than before therapy,the scores of SAS and SDS in the observation group were lower than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The adverse reaction rates were compared between the two groups,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).ConclusionShugan Jieyu Capsules combined with Western medicine in the treatment of patients with functional dyspepsia accompanied with anxiety and depression can obtain a remarkable effect,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
