Abstract:Objective To analyze the application effect of Levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system Mirena and conventional drugs after hysteroscopic endometrial polypectomy. Methods A total of 108 patients with endometrial polyps treated in our hospital from March 2013 to March 2015 were selected as research objects. They were evenly divided into observation group and control group in random. In the observation group, the therapeutic regimen of hysteroscopic endometrial polypectomy plus Mirena was applied, while in the control group, the treatment scheme of hysteroscopic endometrial polypectomy plus Yasmin was used. The indexes in the two groups were observed and recorded. Results In the observation group, the endometrial thickness 1,6,12 and 24 months after operation was all thinner than those in the control group (P<0.05).The PBAC scores of menses 1,6,12 and 24 months after operation in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion After endometrial polypectomy, application of Mirena(levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system)can effective decrease the risk of recurrence of endometrial polyps as well as adverse reactions in a good clinical value.
