Abstract：ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of Tongduhuoluo lotion in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation.Methods112 patients with lumbar disc herniation treated in our hospital from January 2012 to December 2013 were selected and they were randomly divided into the control group and treatment group,and each group had 56 cases.Patients in the control group were treated with conventional traction and manipulation,while the treatment group was treated with external application of Tongduhuoluo lotion on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effect between the two groups was compared.ResultsAfter treatment,the symptoms and signs score and the daily activity score of the two groups were decreased significantly,and the symptoms and signs score and daily activity score of the treatment group after treatment were lower than those of the control group (P<0.01).The total effective rate of the treatment group was 94.64%,and that was 78.57%in the control group,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion Tongduhuoluo lotion in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation has a obvious effect.
