Abstract：ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical efficacy of acupoint application with Chinese medicine in adjuvant treatment of infantile pneumonia.Methods240 children with pneumonia treated in our hospital from January 2015 to January 2017 were divided into two groups by random number table,and there were 120 cases in each group.Control group was given routine treatment,on this basis the observation group was added acupoint application with Chinese medicine.After one-week continuous treatment,the curative effects and disappearance time of symptoms between two groups were compared.ResultsThe total effective rate of observation group was 95.00%,which was significantly higher than 76.67%of control group (P<0.05).The disappearance time of symptoms and hospital stays of observation group were shorter than those of control group (P<0.05).ConclusionCompared with simple western medicine in treatment of infantile pneumonia,acupoint application with Chinese medicine can significantly increase clinical efficacy,accelerate disease outcome and have no obvious adverse reactions during treatment.It is a safe and efficient treatment method, which is worthy of wide clinical application.
