Abstract：Objective To investigate neonatal femoral vein blood collection technology improved and its value in clinical application.Methods 200 hospitalized neonates in our hospital from January to August 2015 in neonatal ward were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group,100 cases in each group.The control group was used the traditional femoral vein puncture method,the observation group was used the improved oblique puncture method for femoral vein puncture blood collection,the effect of blood collection technique in two groups were compared. Results Complete the operation time of observation group was shorter than that of control group(P＜0.05);one time successful puncture rate was significantly higher than that of control group,the difference was significant(P＜0.05);the observation group blood specimen hemolysis and puncture tissue injury were significantly lower than those of control group,the differences were significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Using the improved femoral venous puncture method can significantly shorten the operation time,improve the success rate of first puncture,reduce blood specimen hemolysis and puncture tissue injury incidence,improve work efficiency,reduce the pain of patients,improve the satisfaction of parents of children.
