Abstract:Objective To ana1yze c1inica1 distribution and drug resistance of 376 strains of Acinetobacter baumannii iso1ated form c1inic to provide evidence for diagnosis and treatment of c1inica1 infection. Methods 376 strains of Acinetobacter baumannii iso1ated from various specimens de1ivered from Centra1 Hospita1 Affi1iated to Shenyang Medica1 Co11ege from September 2013 to Ju1y 2015.These strains were performed drug sensitivity test using agardiffusion method.The c1inica1 distribution and drug sensitivity resu1ts were ana1yzed retrospective1y. Results The majority of these resistant strains were iso1ated from sputum (83.2%),and distributed in ICU (54.0%).The resu1t of drug sensitivity ana1ysis showed that the sensitivity rate of above-mentioned strains to imipenem and meropenem was 73.4% and 64.4% respective1y,the resistance rate to aztreonam was 83.5%. Conclusion Acinetobacter baumannii is the major pathogenic bacteria in nosocomia1 infection,and its drug resistance rate is high to antimicrobia1s,and often disp1ays mu1tip1e drug resistance,the rationa1 use of antimicrobia1s shou1d be va1ued to reduce mu1ti drug resistant strains.
