Abstract:Objective To compare the MRI and X ray performance ofmultiplemyeloma in different stages,and to improve the diagnostic level ofmultiple myeloma.Methods 72 cases of multiple myeloma patients in our hospital from April 2011 to March 2015 were selected and confirmed by bonemarrow puncture and biopsy.MRIand X-ray imaging data of all patients were analyzed,and the difference of the twomethods in the staging diagnosis ofmultiplemyeloma was compared.Results 72 patients with multiple myeloma had 120 involved diseased regions.MRI evaluation revealed 61 cases(84.72%)ofmultiplemyeloma patients,and 102 regions(85.00%)were detected.X-ray examination revealed 46 cases(63.89%)ofmultiplemyeloma patients,and 78 regions(65.00%)were detected.The detection rate of the patients and the detection of involved sites of MRIwas higher than that of the X-ray,with significant difference (P<0.01). The staging of X-ray examination was 26 cases of stageⅠ,28 cases of stageⅡ,18 cases of stageⅢ.MRIexamination stage was 14 cases of stageⅠ,19 cases of stageⅡ,39 cases of stageⅢ,and there was significant difference in the staging ofmultiplemyeloma between the twomethods(P<0.01).Conclusion The detection rate ofmultiplemyeloma in MRIis higher than that of X-ray,and the effect of staging diagnosis is better.
