Abstract：Objective To investigate the clinical effect and safety of CyA combined with Cozaar in treating advanced I-gA nephropathy.Methods 86 cases with advanced IgA nephropathy in our hospital from March 2014 to March 2015 were selected and divided into observation group and control group，43 cases in each group.Control group was given Cozaar treatment and observation group was given CyA combined with Cozaar.The 24-hour urinary protein quantity，serum creatinine，biochemical criterion and therapeutic response rate before and after treatment of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment，the 24-hour urinary protein quantity of the two groups were obviously lower than before treatment，and 24-hour urinary protein quantity of observation group was obviously lower than that of control group，the difference was statistically significant（P＜0.05）.Biochemical criterion and serum creatinine of the two groups were basically stable，the difference was not statistic significant （P＞0.05）.Therapeutic response rate of observation group （95.34%）was obviously higher than that of control group （65.11%），the difference was statistically significant （χ2= 12.390，P＜0.01）.Conclusion CyA combined with Cozaar in treating advanced IgA nephropathy can effectively delay the progression，the total effect is better and adverse reaction rate is lower.It can be used as drug choice for IgA nephropathy.
