Abstract：Objective To study the effects of diet nursing on patients with carotid artery plaque.M ethods Select from March 2014 to December 2015 in our department admissions of 160 patientswith carotid atherosclerosis patients were randomly divided into study group and control group.Study group of patients in drug treatmentwhile taking undergraduate specially configured recipes，control patients in drug treatment，and in accordance with the wishes of their own diet，a month for a course of treatment period of 3 months，carotid intima-media thickness and carotid plaque area of two groupswere compared；measuring two groups of patients TG，TC，LDL-C and HDL-C content，comparing lipid levels；judgment on two groups of patients after treatment satisfaction.Results Study group of patients after treatment carotid intima-media thickness and carotid plaque area less than before nursing，and less than after carotid plaque area，the difference was statistically significant（P＜0.05）.Lipid levels after nursing study group was significantly lower than that of control group after treatment，the difference was statistically significant（P＜0.05）.Study group patient satisfaction was significantly higher than that of control group，the difference was statistically significant（χ2=6.7818，P=0.0092）.Conclusion Reasonable and healthy eating habits can improve the symptoms of carotid artery plaque，worthy of promotion.
