Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical effect in patients with proximal humeral fractures treated by locking plate. Methods From February 2014 to November 2015,clinical data from 84 cases with proximal humeral fractures admitted into our hospital for treatment were retrospectively analyzed.According to the sequence of being admitted into the hospital, they were evenly divided into two groups, observation group and control group. In the observation group, locking plate was provided, while in the control group, common steel plate was used. The fracture healing time, incidence of complications,Neer score, and total clinical effective rate were compared in both groups. Results Before therapy, there was no statistical difference in Neer score in the two groups (P>0.05).After treatment,Neer score in the observation group was much better than that in the control group with a statistical difference (P<0.01).The fracture healing time after therapy in the observation group was better than that in the control group, which was displayed a statistical difference(P<0.05). In the observation group, the incidence of complications after therapy was greatly superior to that in the control group with a statistical difference(P<0.05).The total clinical effective rate in the observation group was obviously bettern than that in the control group with a statistical difference (P<0.01).Conclusion Clinical effect in patients with proximal humeral fractures treated by locking plate is remarkable, and is worthy of promotion and application in clinic.
