Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of plan-do-check action (PDCA) cycle management on postoperative physiological function recovery and lactation of parturients after cesarean section. Methods A total of 100 women underwent cesarean section in Jiangxi Maternal and Child Health Hospital from July 2018 to January 2020 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into the control group (n=50) and the observation group (n=50) by random number table method.Patients in the control group were given routine nursing intervention, and in the observation group, PDCA cycle management was combined. The lactation volume and physiological function recovery between the two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference in generic quality of life inventory 74 (GQOLI-74) scale score between the two groups before nursing (P>0.05).The observation group had higher physical function scores on the GQOLI-74 scale after 14 days of nursing than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant significance (P<0.05).The lactation volume at 72 h after delivery in the two groups was higher than that at 24 and 48 h after delivery, and the lactation value at 48 h after delivery was higher than that at 24 h, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The lactation volume at 24, 48, 72 h after delivery in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion PDCA cycle management can promote postoperative physiological function recovery of parturients after cesarean section and increase postoperative lactation volume with satisfactory clinical application effect.
