Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of curriculum teaching reform based on the outcome-based education concept in clinical blood transfusion practice.Methods A total of 144 students of medical laboratory science who practiced in Department of Blood Transfusion in the Third People′s Hospital of Yunnan Province from July 2015 to August 2017 and September 2017 to January 2020 were selected as the control group(49 cases)and the observation group(95 cases)by convenience sampling method.The control group adopted the traditional clinical teaching mode,and the observation group adopted the outcome-based education mode.The theoretical knowledge assessment result,operational skills assessment result and teaching mode satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The theoretical knowledge assessment score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,the operational skills assessment score was higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction of teaching mode in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The concept of outcome-based education in clinical blood transfusion practice can fully mobilize students′ learning enthusiasm and initiative,effectively improve the clinical practice effect of blood transfusion interns,improve the teaching quality,and have a good teaching effect.
