Abstract:Objective To explore the value of coronary CT angiography(CTA)in plaque property assessment of patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS).Methods A total of 60 patients with ACS who were admitted to the Department of Radiology in People′s Hospital of Diaobingshan City from August 2016 to August 2019 were selected as the experimental group, and 60 patients with stable angina pectoris received at the same period were selected as the control group. The vascular volume, degree of lumen stenosis, reconstruction index(RI),total plaque volume,non-calcified plaque volume, calcified plaque volume,non-calcified plaque load, calcified plaque load, and CT value of minimum plaque density were compared between the two groups. Results The RI and non-calcified plaque loads in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in vascular volume, degree of lumen stenosis, total plaque volume,non-calcified plaque volume, calcified plaque volume, calcified plaque load between the two groups(P>0.05).The CT value of minimum plaque density in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion CTA can distinguish ACS from stable angina pectoris by evaluating the nature of plaque, and is suitable for clinical application.
