Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of Montelukast Sodium combined with inhaled corticosteroids in the treatment of children with asthma.MethodsEighty children with asthma admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to January 2018 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into control group(40 cases)and observation group(40 cases)according to random sampling,the control group was treated with Budesonide,while the observation group was treated with Montelukast Sodium combined with Budesonide.The clinical efficacy,pulmonary function indexes(FEV1,PEF),the time of disappearance of symptoms length of stay and total incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group after treatment was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The lung function indexs of the observation group after treatment were higher than those of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The Length of stay and the time of disappearance of symptoms in the observation group were shorter than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of Montelukast sodium combined with inhaled glucocorticoid in the treatment of children with asthma is very obvious,and it can improve the pulmonary function of children,shorten hospital stay,worthy of clinical promotion and application.
