Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the application effect of delicacy management in clinical teaching for nursing interns.MethodsFrom January to December in 2016,100 nursing interns attending clinical nursing practice in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,50 cases in each group. In the control group, interns were provided with traditional clinical teaching, while in the observation group, delicacy management was adopted during clinical teaching. The theoretical knowledge of nursing, nursing operating skill, and communication skill between nurse and patient were compared.Besides, the self-assessment results, teaching satisfaction, and the incidence rate of nursing errors were also compared.ResultsThe examination results of nursing theory knowledge, nursing skills, nurse and patient communication ability in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, with significant difference(P<0.05).The self-assessment results like improving self-learning ability, learning efficiency, comprehensive ability of nursing, ability to solve problems, and team-work spirit, etc.in the observation group were greatly superior to those in the control group, with significant difference(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate on clinical teaching in the observation group was 100%,which was higher than 90%in the control group, with significant difference(P<0.05).The incidence rate of nursing errors in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, with significant difference(P<0.05).ConclusionApplication of delicacy management in clinical teaching for nursing interns can effectively improve the clinical teaching effect,so that they can master more nursing theoretical knowledge and operational skills, thereby improve nursing quality and reduce the nursing errors during internship.
