Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of Ziprasidone Injection on the agitation symptoms of adolescent with schizophrenia (SCH) acute phase. Methods A total of 82 adolescent SCH patients with acute agitation symptoms admitted to the Fourth People′s Hospital of Yingkou from July 2019 to July 2020 were selected as research objects. According to random lottery，they were divided into study group and reference group，with 41 patients in each group. The patients in the reference group were treated with Haloperidol intramuscular injection，and patients in the study group were treated with Ziprasidone intramuscular injection. During the treatment，the excited component of positive and negative syndrome (PANSS-EC) scores and the total effective rate of the two groups at 6，12，24，48 and 72 hours after treatment were evaluated，and the adverse reactions of the two groups were compared to evaluate their safety. Results There was no significant difference in PANSS-EC scores before medication between the two groups (P＞0.05). The PANSS-EC scores of the two groups at 6，12，24，48 and 72 hours after medication were lower than those before medication，the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). The PANSS-EC scores of 6，12 hours after medication in the study group was lower than those in the reference group，the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). There was no significant difference in PANSS-EC scores between the two groups at 24，48 and 72 hours after treatment(P＞0.05).There were no significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups (P＞0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was lower than that in the reference group，the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of the agitation symptoms of adolescent with SCH acute phase，Ziprasidone Injection can quickly control the symptoms and achieve the same effect as Haloperidol Injection，with better safety and good clinical application effect.
